Vivo has launched its V60 smartphone in India, positioning it in the competitive under Rs 40,000 segment alongside models such as the OPPO Reno 14 series, iQOO Neo 10, and OnePlus Nord 5. The device is targeted at buyers looking for a performance and camera-focused phone.

The Vivo V60 starts at Rs 36,999 for 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. Other variants include 8GB + 256GB at Rs 38,999, 12GB + 256GB at Rs 40,999, and 16GB + 512GB at Rs 45,999.

The OPPO Reno 14 5G is available at Rs 37,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model, Rs 39,999 for the 12GB + 256GB option, and Rs 42,999 for the 12GB + 512GB version.

Vivo’s V60 offers a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 5,000 nits peak brightness. It includes IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor. Weight ranges between 192g and 201g, with thickness between 7.65mm and 7.75mm, depending on colour.

The OPPO Reno 14 5G features a 6.59-inch OLED display, 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,200 nits peak brightness. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

The V60 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB UFS 2.2 storage. It runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15, with a promise of four years of software updates and six years of security patches.

The Reno 14 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, offering up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.

Vivo’s V60 has a triple rear setup co-engineered with Zeiss, consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The front camera is 50MP, and both front and rear support 4K video recording.

The Reno 14 5G also carries three rear cameras: a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. The front houses a 50MP camera for selfies and high-resolution video.

The V60 is equipped with a 6,500mAh battery and supports 90W wired fast charging. The Reno 14 5G includes a 6,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging.

With competitive specifications in display technology, camera capabilities, and battery performance, both devices aim to capture consumer interest in the mid-premium 5G smartphone category in India.
